Registration
Throughout 2022, C-HEARTS will be hosting four virtual workshops in April, May, September, and October.
The registration cost for each virtual workshop will be $35/workshop.
The virtual workshop for April is:
- Rx Racial Healing Circles with Dr. Millie Rivera and Ms. Sherrene DeLong
- Saturday, April 23rd from 10 am to 1 pm Eastern Standard Time via Zoom
Rx Racial Healing Circles (RHCs), created by Dr. Gail Christopher while at the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, are founded on the principles of jettisoning the hierarchy of human value and narrative change through storytelling. The uniqueness of RHCs come from their focus on health, well-being, agency, inclusion, and our common humanity.
RHCs are designed for community building and racial awareness. This framework is rooted in spiritual and community-sustaining models in many indigenous cultures. The power of the RHC experience comes from sharing stories – telling personal stories (taking us to the heart space) rather than simply relating to an event (the mind space). Circle participants often can see their own experiences in the stories of others, which helps us to see ourselves in one another.
Upon registration, participants will receive additional information from the co-faciliators along with the Zoom link to attend the workshop.

- A confirmation email with your completed registration will be sent to you.
- Groups may register more than one confernce participant through the storefront and make only one payment.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund requests must be received 14 calendar days prior to the program start date. A $60 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. Requests should be sent by email to Ernest Solar at solar@msmary.edu. As an alternative to a refund, you may send a substitute at no additional cost. Please contact Ernest Solar at solar@msmary.edu to request a substitution. Please note: refunds will not be issued for no-shows or for cancellations received on or after the program start date.
In the unlikely event that this program is canceled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
