Financial Aid Office

We can help make tuition more affordable for you, no matter what your financial situation may be. To get started, you only need to fill out one financial aid form, the FAFSA—and you can do it online. (It takes students an average of 22 minutes to complete.)

The FAFSA Simplification Act will streamline the FAFSA application process for families. Because of the changes being implemented, it is estimated that the 2024-25 FASFA will not be available until, December, 2023.

The FAFSA is used to determine eligiblility for need-based financial aid. Maryland residents are required to submit the FAFSA each year prior to March 1 to be eligible for MD State grants and scholarships.

Freshman applicants – Early Action

Students who apply to the Mount by December 1 and file the FAFSA by January 15 will be in the first group of students who receive their financial aid notification, pending any additional information requests by the Financial Aid Office.

Financial Aid Priority Deadline

Students who apply to the Mount and file their FAFSA by February 1, will be eligible to receive their financial aid award notification by March 1.

The Financial Aid Office will be offering workshops to assist with completion of the FAFSA. Watch for announcement of dates.
