Kids Chance of Maryland, Inc. Scholarship

This one-semester scholarship is for children who have had a parent catastrophically injured or killed in an employment related injury. Students may reapply each semester for additional financial support opportunities.

Opportunities for Maryland Residents

Residents of Maryland may be eligible for state-sponsored, need-based grants or scholarships. Many of the programs require your FAFSA to be filed before March 1 of each year and may also require a separate application for the scholarship.

Guaranteed Access (GA) Grants

Awards in excess of $18,000 to Maryland students from very low income families. Your FAFSA form must be completed by March 1 to be considered. Visit the Maryland Higher Education Commission for specific eligibility requirements and application instructions.

Educational Assistance (EA) Grants

The EA Grant is awarded to students with low to moderate family income. The average grant for Mount St. Mary's University students has been $3,000. Senatorial and Delegate Scholarships
