Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance

General Position Description

The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, is conducting a search for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Finance or related field with experience teaching general finance courses and an ability to contribute to teaching in healthcare and/or sport finance. We desire someone who can diversify and complement the existing strengths and course offerings in the School of Business. The successful applicant will also be expected to provide leadership for our Bloomberg Finance Lab and oversee the Student Investment Fund. The successful candidate will have Ph.D. in hand by December 2021, a scholarly record in finance, and will have demonstrated a student-centered philosophy consistent with teaching at a liberal arts college. Duties of this position may exist at both the Emmitsburg and Frederick Campuses. Experience with multiple modes of teaching delivery is preferred as is international experience.
