The Department of Information Technology supports the mission and vision of the university by providing innovative and cost-effective technological solutions with high quality customer service to enhance the teaching and learning experience for students, faculty and staff.
This department is the front line responsibility for the delivery of services touched by the University community as a whole.
Information Technology Support Center is a service operated by Mount staff and trained student personnel that answers questions, resolves problems and provides support to students, faculty and administrative staff regarding the campus computer network, audio-visual needs and telecommunications system. Responsible for fielding support requests related to our primary business operating platform, Jenzabar, and the systems with which it integrates.
Responsible for designing and operating our network and server infrastructure.
Responsible for security planning, awareness and technical compliance with respect to general security and HIPPA, FERPA, and PCI in coordination with HR and Finance. Also touchpoint with the Computer Science Department and Business School with respect to how our cybersecurity operations mesh with the cybersecurity academic programs at the Mount, and their needs for hardware to support educational activities.
Responsible for working with the student, faculty, and staff to help identify, pilot, budget for, and procure technology solutions. Also, IT organization's touch point with the School of Education which is supporting the development of a roadmap and support for instructional technology here at the Mount.
