Campus Arrival Protocols

Undergraduate Residential Students

All residential students will be engaged in Return to Campus Protocol as they initially arrive on campus that includes these steps:

  1. Residential students will report to campus between August 19 and August 22. Residence Life will invite students to sign up for a staggered move-in time period.
  2. First-year students will check in at the Palmieri Activities Center on August 19 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Returning students will check in at the Memorial Gym on August 21-22 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sign up details will be provided in a separate communication from the Office of Residence Life.
  3. Once on campus every residential student and move-in helpers should be prepared to:
    1. Wear masks while indoors.
    2. Complete the MyMount Check In form online between August 9 and 23. Once the above steps have been successfully completed, you will then receive keys for your student residence.

Undergraduate Commuter Students

  1. Prior to your arrival to campus, you must upload your proof of vaccination to MyMount or you will not be able to attend classes.
  2. Complete the MyMount Check In form online between August 9 and 23. Once the process has been successfully completed, including uploading proof of vaccination or your approved exemption, you will be able to attend classes.
  3. First-year commuter students and transfer commuter students will report to campus on August 19 and August 20 for orientation. Please reference your orientation schedule for check-in times and locations.
  4. Returning commuter students will report to campus during the first week of classes starting August 23.
  5. From August 23 to August 25 staff will be available at a commuter information table outside of the bookstore in McGowan to assist commuter students with their transition back to campus.
  6. Once on campus every commuter student should be prepared to wear masks while indoors.
